Our centre was founded with the mission to serve the Sudanese-Australian community, providing essential services and programs that reflect the unique cultural and spiritual needs of our members.
The Sudanese Islamic Community Centre of Australia Inc. (SICCA) is a not-for-profit organization established in 2015 under the Victorian Consumer Affairs regulations.
Our centre was founded with the mission to serve the Sudanese-Australian community, providing essential services and programs that reflect the unique cultural and spiritual needs of our members.
Project Partners
SICCA works with local community networks to integrates Sudanese Islamic and Sudanese cultures with the Australian legal system to support its at-risk members. This encompasses safety planning, advocacy, emergency accommodation provision, and access to cultural, religious, legal, and social welfare services.

SICCA provides community development approaches that help its members to take control of their times, their spaces, and their lives in order to organize for success. People can gather, pause, reflect, meet, and commune. All individuals need to gather with others – this is human nature. SICCA’s is a place where our members meet, communicate, and gather.
